Wedding Time!

Aunt Emily officially joined the family on September 1, 2012 at a beautiful ceremony on a quaint, organic farm on the outskirts of Nashville, Tennessee :) Naomi and I flew out to celebrate with them! (The wedding was unfortunately on the one weekend each year that Josh is not allowed to take off, so he had to stay behind :(...just wanted to explain the lack of his presence in these photos ;-)

Naomi and Cousin Kahlynn were the flower girls and Aunt Chris got them matching headbands for rehearsal dinner...Naomi got a kick out of it when we put it on her head!

It stormed most of the afternoon leading up to the wedding, but by the time the ceremony started the sun was out and the humidity was incredibly high! Naomi didn't take too great of a nap that afternoon and with all the new faces she was a little unsure of what was going on and therefore quite clingy to mom...but thankfully she loves Grammy and Pop too so I could get a break every once in a while :)

Walking down the aisle...Emily created all the bouquets from the flowers that lined the aisle! So beautiful and special!

Such a beautiful setting!!

They wrote their own vows and that was beautiful on a whole other level. Such love and devotion was reflected upon, demonstrated to those gathered, and promised for a lifetime together.

MR & MRS DAVIS!!!!!

 Ok, the reception was incredible! It cooled off a little bit as the sun went down, and the hog slop band heated up. I am now convinced that if you want anyone and everyone to dance, feel comfortable dancing, and have a great time at a wedding, you should have square dancing!! I'm not kidding that at one point there was not any room on the dance floor for another pair to join the fun being had by friends and family of ALL ages!
