The Beginning of our Time with Baby A

Baby A (#2) has been with us for almost 7 weeks. He came to us soo tiny and has almost doubled in size! He has been a really relaxed baby which has been a blessing because we tend to be on the go a lot, aka we took him on a hike at Red Rocks when he was five days old :)

Our daily lives have adjusted to having a newborn around, and we are getting used to multiple appointments each week for A. N and J have been champs about more car rides, people coming to the house for visits, and mom having to give some of her attention to another precious life.

We have all met A's mom, and I think that was a really great thing for N. She talks about her often and sometimes when A cries she'll say, "I think A misses his mommy. She loves him so much." A's mom is doing awesome and we are loving building a relationship with her and supporting her in the little ways we can. And we are loving having a bundle of cuteness in our home for this time. Everyone loves feeding, holding and burping him. He is just starting to give us smiles, which makes all the middle-of-the-night wake ups and hours spent washing bottles and baby clothes worth it :)
