So...while many things went undocumented, I'd like you to know that we saw a HUGE bull moose, a couple turkeys, a few deer and marmots, along with bear and elk tracks. We packed up all of camp in around 20 minutes when we were convinced a huge storm was rolling in (think loud thunder and really dark clouds) only to end up eating our dinner around the campfire under a perfectly clear blue sky (we still came home a night early since we were packed up, but we didn't fly out of camp to escape a storm like we originally thought we would have to). We enjoyed awesome food, beautiful scenery, and new friends in our own little campsite with no neighbors for at least 1/2 a mile...and we actually got a decent night's sleep considering it was only our second time in a tent with all 4 of us :)

Right before we got ready to leave we realized the kids were loving playing on this gate and thought we could have a cute photo shoot...
...which resulted in Naomi getting hurt and crying, Everett going crazy and doing everything but look at the camera, and Jonah just yelling and taking it all in. And then the more I thought about it, I realized this picture actually sums up the trip quite well :)
Looking forward to many more camping trips with great new friends (and of course old ones, if you come visit, we'll take you too!!) in this beautiful state!
