Part II...aka Thursday

On Thursday we (being Judy, Naomi and I) lounged around in the morning (Josh and Katie went on a 5 mile trail run...freaks.).  We went to The Forks for burgers for lunch, then Katie took us to her favorite coffee shop in Oakhurst and we headed to a park with our warm drinks in hand!

 

Then we took Naomi back to High Sierra for her nap and the four adults played Settlers of Catan (that's right folks...Grandma Judy has officially joined the Settlers club!). After that we decided to explore some activities on campus that we've never done before, so we went rock climbing and did some low ropes course activities:

Naomi wanted to try it too, so Grandma Judy helped her out :)

This is what happens when you're tough and go rock climbing! (or when you are a clumsy rock climber and you scrape your knuckle on the wall ;-)

This is called the marriage counselor and supposedly the further along the ropes you can make it the longer your marriage will last...we made it to about 15 years...we'll see how accurate it is ;-)

 Then Josh and I tried to get across the molten lava (that Naomi and Katie are obviously immune to) with just a few boards and a piece of rope...let's just say it was quite entertaining and probably took much longer than it should have...

That evening Katie made us dinner and we relaxed at her place for a bit with Naomi as entertainment :)

She's starting to bob her head to music...it improves a little everyday...but here it looks more like head jerks ;-)

After these videos a whirlwind decision resulted in us cleaning, packing up, and driving an hour and a half south to stay in a hotel so we could get a jump start on Friday!
